KL

Sep 15

Day 1 of KL was pretty good. I woke up early and took the regional train out to Batu Caves. It’s a Hindu temple. It was kind of fun to see something completely different. I haven’t been exposed to much Hindu stuff.

From there I took the train back in and wandered the city some. The air quality started really taking a dive at that point. I’m not sure what the cause was, but for whatever reason the city has been covered in a thick haze, and it’s been difficult to breathe. I also went to Kenny Rogers Roasters.

In the evening I went on a food/drink tour. It was just okay. I usually do at least 1 of these walking tours in each place I visit. While I’m glad I went on it, it was not a standout.
